As you may know, I acquired the historic “Westinghouse Castle” in Wilmerding, PA last year, and I am planning to develop the property into a destination boutique hotel and event facility. The Castle was built in the 1890’s by 19th century innovator George Westinghouse. You can see more about the project here.
We’ve launched a Kickstarter campaign to help maintain the building and finance some pre-development costs. We are in a constant battle to plug roof leaks, repair plaster, and keep groundwater at bay. I attach a flyer and link to the campaign on Kickstarter. Kickstarter link is here. Here is a short url: http://kck.st/2pDAqXa
I know that not everyone is in a position to make a monetary donation, and I’m not really asking for that (though any help would be much appreciated). What I could really use help with is spreading the word: if you could share the campaign with your friends, family and network, and on social media, I’d appreciate it very much. Please share via e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other means.

Did you know that what goes into a catch basin ends up in a river? This is the same river from
which drinking water is drawn. So please, don't put anything into a catch basin that would
pollute the river like oil, leaves, chemicals or grass clippings. Please contact the borough office
at 412-824-2531 if you see someone putting something in a catch basin that shouldn't go there.
We encourage everyone to explore the site and check back often for updates.
